Things to Do

Start your morning by grabbing some breakfast tacos at Veracruz, located at the corner of Congress Avenue and Cesar Chavez at the bottom of the Line Hotel.

After breakfast, cross the bridge and take a stroll down South Congress Avenue. Browse through unique boutiques, vintage shops, and art galleries. Cowboy up at Goorin Bros. Hat Shop, Allens Boots or Heritage Boot Co.

Not in the mood to shop? From the Line Hotel, you can easily access the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. The trail runs alongside Lady Bird Lake and through the heart of Austin. Stroll along the water’s edge and pass by skyscrapers, neighborhoods, ball fields and all sorts of cultural attractions.

Craving a bit of history? Visit the Texas State Capitol! Head to the Texas State Capitol for a guided tour or a self-guided exploration. Admire the stunning architecture and learn about Texas history and government.
